STERYFAST – P is totally biodegradable, water-soluble, with a neutral-alkaline pH, excel-lent for a quick and safe disinfection and steri-lization joined to a detergent action of:
• silicone and alginate impressions;
• orthodontic appliances;
• any rotary, endoscopy, surgical and dental instrument, including turbines and optical fibres, dental unit hydraulic circuits.


• Action
STERYFAST – P, in only 10 minutes, eliminates the widest range of bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi, spo-res and viruses (including HIV, HBV, HCV).


• Mechanisms
STERYFAST – P dissolved in lukewarm tap water, generates a chemical reaction leading to the formation of peracetyl and hydroperoxy ions (% CH3COOOH ? 0.26) which, by synergy, assure a sterilizing action in only 10 minutes.
Stabilizing organic additives make the solutions of
STERYFAST – P stable and they can be used up to 30 hours after preparation.The presence of an anionic sur-face- active agent also ensures contact with all the phospholipidic membranes, enabling the sterilizing components to penetrate into the cells and inhibit every form of microbial activity, even in the presence of organic material (blood, pus, urine, stools etc.).

BIODEGRADABILITY AND DISPOSAL
STERYFAST – P is completely biodegradable and does not require any special disposal. The used solutions can be poured directly into the sink, because the decomposition products (acetic acid, water and oxygen) are harmless.

COMPATIBILITY WITH MATERIALS
STERYFAST – P contains corrosion stabilizers and inhibitors which, together with its sub-alkaline neutral pH, allow total compatibility of the sterilizing solution with the materials of which the various medical instruments are made of. STERYFAST – P doesn't requires deactivators, doesn't smell and doesn't attacks the metals and other components.
